Tadpoles and a place to play

Lilly: "Mom, we have some new pets!"

Mom: "What?!?"

Lilly: "Come see the tadpoles!"

Mom: Big sigh of relief!

Mary left this beautiful planter for the frogs to spawn in. They did, and now we have hundreds of tadpoles.
The kids had fun scooping them out, everyone had to have their own pet or two!
I feel a trip to the library coming! We once read a great book on tadpoles, turning into frogs. We also experienced it first hand when Jim and Mary gave us a bucket of tadpoles last year. We had fun watching them grow their legs and lose their tails. Lilly named two of the frogs Mike and Michael. Then at family camp she named all her bugs Mike and Michael. When the speaker asked us to find a walking stick and give it a name, well much to our surprise she named it - Bob!
Wade said the kids could make rooms out of the garage. This is the dining room.

This is the bedroom, Madison is sitting at her desk. This house has a kitchen, a fridge that Maris was loading with "spinach". I told her filling our fridge with leaves is probably not a good idea. It even has a bathroom - with our camp port-a-potty. Lilly came in the house - doing the "dance" and asked if she should use the bathroom in my house or hers! My house please, and keep the lid closed on that thing!
